The builder did not completely sod the backyard, leaving a wrestling pit for weeds and mud to see who was tougher.  The weeds won.  So after solarizing the area to naturally exterminate the evil yet victorious weeds, the owners brought in BioGardener to help them convert it to a functionally and visually dynamic completion for the yard.  With enough grass to mow already, the owners expressed interest in a diverse, highly colorful, and low-maintenance garden that incorporates a comfortable spot for a hammock and restored garden bench.  BioGardener generated a design, and tweaked it to include plants that the owners had a particular interest in.  An itemized cost estimate was then produced, allowing the owners to weed out certain tasks in order to save cash and give them an active role in the construction of their new garden.  The result is a diverse bed that the owners can’t wait to share with friends and neighbors, as well as the butterflies, dragonflies, and hummingbirds that came to visit within a single day of installation.
